Cyclife Sweden AB is a company within the EDF group (Electricité De France), one of the world's largest employers and a major player in the energy sector. Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a production engineering background and experience from the industry, where you have worked with improvement projects and thrive in a role close to operations. You are accustomed to combining technical work with administrative tasks and have a structured approach.

Requirements and qualifications:

• Production engineering background, preferably with experience in improvement work within the industry
• Experience in administrative work
• Good proficiency in Office 365
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• Degree as a mechanical engineering bachelor or equivalent education
• Knowledge of LEAN and/or 5S
• Experience with SAP or similar business systems.

What does the role entail?

As a production engineer at Cyclife, you will be part of an engaged team that works together to create efficient processes and ensure high quality in production. The role is broad and varied, combining practical work close to production with technical development and structured administrative tasks. You will have the opportunity to influence work methods, contribute to projects, and drive improvement initiatives in a business where safety and precision are crucial.

With tasks that include:

• Developing and improving production equipment and processes
• Conducting feasibility studies, method selections, and time studies to optimize flows
• Leading or contributing technical expertise in CAPEX projects related to new equipment procurement
• Working on improvement projects and participating in standardization initiatives such as LEAN and 5S
• Collaborating with production and service and maintenance technicians to create the best possible solutions
• Ensuring correct documentation and reporting project status to the department head or business area manager.

The location is Studsvik outside Nyköping, and the work is primarily on-site. This recruitment process includes a background check that compiles previous public criminal records. The background check consists of public information that is handled confidentially. A security interview is also conducted where financial stability is a requirement.
